Job Description:
A JAVA Programmer is needed for our client located in High Point/Thomasville, NC area.
Chosen candidate will be have JAVA software development experience and will be responsible for developing and maintaining JAVA applications, along with the design and creation of database tables. Candidate will be a member of the SAP Application team and work with technical staff, users, and management to design applications and solve business related problems.
Responsibilities:
1. Support and enhance existing Web applications
2. Develop and maintain JAVA applications in Websphere Application Server/WDSC environment
3. Design and create database tables and queries
4. Test and debug applications
5. Develop web services for internal and external consumption
6. Create web applications that interface with legacy and SAP applications
7. Create web applications that interface with external parties
8. Develop system documentation for training and support purposes
9. Implement system changes according to company?s change management process
10. Provide SOX documentation in accordance with department standards
Salary: $80,000.00+ - Open
Experience Level:
2 Years
Requirements:
1. BS degree in Computer Science preferred
2. 2+ years of JAVA application software development
3. JAVA, J2EE, XML/.XSL, HTML, PHP, DB2, FTP, & JavaScript experience
4. Websphere Application Server & WDSC experience
5. Experience in system/application design, testing, and end-user support
6. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus
7. Experience with PC tools, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills
