In this position, you'll have the opportunity to:
* Conduct research to develop pharmaceutical dosage forms used for medical applications
* Analyze data and write reports to support regulatory submission of Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) to health regulatory agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
* Plan and direct studies to investigate in-vivo performance of lead formulations of pharmaceutical products in human through suitable bioavailability/bioequivalence studies
* Standardize formulation procedures for manufacturing and scale up of drugs and medicinal compounds
* Lead product formulation projects, interface with senior management and provide work leadership to other medical scientists
* Support patent infringement analysis and registration filings and scientific publications regarding generic drug formulation study findings
Job Title: Senior Research Scientist
Primary Skills: * M.S. degree in pharmaceutical sciences & 4 yrs experience in formulation development.
* Experience must include manufacturing, scale-up of dosage forms (pellets, matrix tablets, reservoir & osmotic delivery systems), inhalation delivery systems (metered dose, dry powder & nasal), regulatory submissions, & leadership experience.
