Job Description:
Our client, a major brokerage firm located in downtown Manhattan is looking for a Datawarehousing Architect/Data Modeler.
***Open to consulting or Full-time employee candidates****
DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will report to Project Manager and participate in the design and implementation of the data warehouse. Additional responsibilities include: - Participate and assist in data model design process - Participate in entire SDLC process - Understand the business requirement and functional spec and translate to technical solutions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 7 years of experience responsible for enterprise data warehouse. Experience working in a reporting group for a large financial firm.
- 5-7 years experience in OLAP architecture design, multi dimensional data modeling, data mart design, data security, ETL processes and process modeling.
- 5- 7 years experience with developing structured systems specifications, including logical and physical data modeling/design
- Expert SQL Server 2000 and 2005 skills required.Extensive experience with all phases of Data Warehouse development including prototyping, data modeling, analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and training other team members.
- Expertise in T-SQL stored procedure programming with MS-SQL Server
- Experience in MS Analysis Services (SSAS)
Plus:
Experience in SQL Integration Services(SSIS)
