Our client, a major brokerage firm located in downtown Manhattan is looking for a Strong C#/.Net Sharepoint Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Skills Needed: C#,ASP.Net, SharePoint 2007, MOSS 2007, MS SQL Server, SQL
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Extensive experience working with C# and ASP.Net
- Experience with SharePoint Portal Server 2007, MOSS 2007. Developing solutions building Web Parts.
- Developing a Sharepoint portal site to manage all project specific documents and information.
- Must be able to work well within a team environment, have exceptional oral and written communication skills
MAJOR PLUS:
- ASP.NET 2.0 & C# 2.0 experience developing sites and business objects. Thorough understanding of ASP.NET and ADO.NET object model. Experience with design patterns and development tools (such as NUnit, Visual Studio 2005 Team System, etc).
- Requires Javascript, DHTML, and CSS coding experience including its incorporating into ASP.NET pages. AJAX (either handwritten or with a library) a plus.
- Requires 3-6 years MSSQL 2000 experience in creating stored procedures, very complex queries with a large number of tables & data, and database schema design. Experience conducting performance tuning of queries and effective unit testing of them. MSSQL 2005 and SQL Reporting Services a plus.
- Experience with .NET Remoting, Web Services, Visual Studio Tools for Office, InfoPath, UML a plus.
- Customizing the feel & look of Sharepoint based Web site and Custom Site Definitions and Template
- Expertise in Schema.xml, CAML, SharePoint WS API, and adding Javascript to existing SharePoint pages. Experience developing solutions using SharePoint to automate business workflow a big plus
