Job Description: The IT Programmer develops specifications for the solution of well-defined, routine business problems. The individual will convert these specifications into applications and programs required for computer based solutions. The IT Programmer is challenged with developing program procedures to process complex systems with a high level of reliability and execution speed.
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes to set requirements, establish constraints, and develop required data for implementing technical solutions to business problems.
Learns user functions, organization and role in the enterprise to the extent required.
Participate in new functionality design analysis and testing within existing system solutions.
Participates in certain aspects of user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design, vendor contracts and detail systems design.
Works on routine, well-defined, analysis-type problems related to a single activity or procedure and having some variety and or moderate difficulty.
Writes new programs of moderate complexity and scope, working with basic applications systems designs and specifications and utilizing standard procedures, naming conventions, and techniques.
Prepares programs requiring a wide variety and extensive number of internal processing actions.
Responsible for unit testing and coordinating/recommending integrated test plans.
Provide production support directly to users on both legacy and new applications
Generate and test program code.
Document technology solutions, including user requirements documents, executive summaries for presentation to management, financial analysis as inputs to funding requests, user manuals, and design decisions throughout projects.
Provide end-user onsite or web based training to ensure smooth deployments of new technology.
Maintains and modifies existing applications programs.
Support packaged SQL solutions that currently exist as part of the finance systems portfolio.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Some travel is required.

Experience with full Project Management Life Cycle
BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related field is preferred.
3 ? 5 years of relevant work experience is highly desirable.
Experience with program source control.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the desire and ability to work as member of a high performance team.
Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial business processes, risks and application controls.
Organizational and time management skills including demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Superior customer service orientation with strong decision-making, assessment and root cause analysis skills.
Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
