Reference Number: 28342 Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop test and deploy Automated Visual Basic (VB) and CATIA V5 Knowledgeware Systems to Client Tool Design organizations and Partners/Suppliers. Candidate must have demonstrated the ability to translate manual cad design processes into automated applications by building and deploying Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) applications for CATIA V5 mechanical designs. Experienced in gathering user requirements and in the development of VB/Knowledgeware applications for CATIA V5 designs. Applicant must have detailed knowledge of Dassault Systems API/COM objects, including but not limited to the programmatic access to the following work benches; Part Design, Assembly Design, DMU, GSD, Knowledge Advisor, Knowledge Expert, Product Eng. Optimizer structures, Drafting, & FT&A. Good verbal and written communications skills required with the ability to work with multi-national Life Cycle Product Teams (LCPTs). Experience Level: 5+ Years Requirements: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Advanced windows computer skills are required, including Windows 2k kernels. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science or mathematics. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree.
