Job Description: The successful candidate will be able to provide responsible advice and counsel on a wide range of contractual and business issues. The successful candidate is also responsible for: Managing subcontractors to achieve program goals and objectives, maintain strong supplier relations and ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures. Developing subcontracts, negotiating terms and conditions and subcontract provisions, evaluating proposals and negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions or modifications to the subcontracts. Administers resulting subcontracts including any award fee provisions. Ensuring that contractual risks are identified and mitigated. Monitoring supplier performance as part of a supplier management team and implementing corrective actions as required. Adhering to tight deadlines and being able to make decisions in a timely manner, offering guidance and working cooperatively with a multitude of organizations ranging from technical, program, finance, contracts and security for seamless administration. Takes the subcontract lead on proposal efforts of all sizes. Participates in strategic formation, teaming arrangements, past performance, risk mitigation. Prepares bidders packages, conducts bidders' conferences, requests, analyzes and evaluates proposals, writes subcontract management section. Mentoring and training junior subcontract administrators. Hours: 8am to 5pm

Requirements: The following are the basic qualifications for this position: A minimum of 10 years + BA/BS or 6 years with a Master's degree of related experience are required. Candidate must have the following skills: Demonstrated strengths managing suppliers in a large complex program through all phases; thorough knowledge of the FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting regulations; ability to work with little to no supervision, ability to apply sound judgment to problem solving, strategy development and supplier relationships; ability to adapt well to change, exceptional organization skills, verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment and with all levels of management and strong negotiation skills. Educational Requirements: A minimum of 10 years + BA/BS or 6 years with a Master's degree of related experience are required. Excellent customer skills.
