Reference Number: 30825 Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: The HART program is looking for software developers to develop an extensible web-based User Interface for the HART system that addresses the needs of numerous users from the war fighter in the field to the commander in the tactical operating center. Shift: 1st; workweek: 9/80 Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: The candidate must have experience developing portable Java applets and JavaScript based browser-based systems that run on a wide-collection of web browsers include IE, Firefox, Safari, and Opera as well as interface with the user through a variety of input approaches including mouse, stylus and finger input methods. Basic Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related technical field and a minimum of 2 years of experience directly related to this position. A working knowledge of portable open source Linux-based development processes, languages, and tools including Strong, Recent Java, JavaScript, C#, Mono/.NET, and Windows/cygwin is necessary. Hands on experience with SOAP, XML, and SOA based systems are required. Preferred Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Note: Able to manipulate algorithms - inside media players, versatile media players - freeware, math coding, must be excellent in math.
