Reference Number: LTBSJ Job Description: Seeking individual to do library research and queries. Library Technician needed for long term temporary assignment. Individual will shelve new aquisitions and returned items, prepare reports, download reports or documents and format to print or store for internal use, scan written materials, convert documents from MSWord to Adobe Acrobat, upload files onto intranet/ internet site, assist with mailings and electronic preparations for print publication. Person will be responsible for interlibrary loan lending, collection maintenance, shelving, inventory, reports maintenance, journal check in and other duties as assigned. Experience Level: 3 Years Requirements: Library experience preferred. Must be professional and have excellent oral/written skills. Must possess good working knowledge of MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, general computer skills.

Location: Washington DC Duration: 9 - 12 months Pay Rate: $17.78/ hour
