Sr Java Developer.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, design, and development of core product and platform features
Work directly with product management, QA, and related team leads to manage the technical aspects of a development pipeline
Coordinate design activities, testing frameworks, and other related items in addition to contributing core product code
Serve as a lead and mentor to development team staff, working with the senior team Modified agile development methodologies
Must have worked on Tomcat/Apache and modjk2 connector
Knowledge on Linux is must Experience on Windows Server is MUST Understanding of Core Java Libraries is a MUST Knowledge of Web services is MUST. Must have strong knowledge of RDBMS ( MS-SQL / Oracle) - PostgresSQL experience would be plus.
Candidate would be part of core development team and may need to put long hours.
May need to travel client sites in Europe or Asia Pacific region
Technical Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent 6+ years of industry experience in Java development in a team-based environment including: 3+ years experience developing commercial software 2+ years in a lead/mentoring role Expert-level Java skills and object oriented design experience, including strong knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns Experience with light-weight and/or Agile development methodologies, and with the realities of commercial software engineering. Significant development experience in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment Experience with a wide array of modern programming tools and languages User-facing product design and development, including user-interface work.
