Client is rolling out IPT to 340 end cleints locations throughout Florida. Techs have to be willing to travel throughout the Orlando area. If travel is required they will be reimbursed
Skills:
In depth understanding of Cisco UC, and UCM v6. (able to walk someone through troubleshooting over the phone), highly skilled at troubleshooting IPT at the remote Router(BGP, SRST,MOH, echo cancellation), some understanding of IPCC Enterprise (IPCC E) is a plus
Description:
Customer is rolling out IPT with IPCC E to their stores in Florida. The voice gateways, switches, and phones are being configured at headquarters and shipped to the stores.
This position will be the technical lead at the store responsible for making sure the router is configured correctly(for network, and voice), the switch is configured and cabled correctly, and that the phones are functioning properly.
This person must be able to troubleshoot based on IOS configs and problems with the phones. Problems range from BGP misconfig, wrong IP address, MOH not working on the router to missing phone profile, and misconfigured route pattern on the UCM. There will be no access to the UCM, the person must be able to identify the problem, call into NOC, and describe the problem and the solution to UCM admin.
There will also be some basic IPCC E troubleshooting, typically working with a Cisco Engineer located at the NOC. Some knowledge of IPCC E is helpful.
This person will work with a local team that will handle cabling(although this person may be asked to help)and basic troubleshooting. Whatever they can?t handle will fall to this person.
Contractor has to be willing to travel to various location with in a 100-150 miles radius. Mileage will be approved based on locations, anything over a 100 miles a hotel will be provided.
