Reference Number: 08-05170 Job Description: The Computer Merchant, LTD is currently seeking a Mainframe Programmer to provide support for a Fortune 200 integrator in their facility in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Position: Mainframe Programmer Location: Lake Oswego, Oregon Duration: This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity with strong potential for extension or conversion to permanent employment. Full-time Monday through Friday, day shift position that is 40 hours per week. Required: Candidate must be able to complete and pass a drug test and background investigation. Pay Rate: Open to Negotiation Job Description: Mainframe Programming (COBOL, CICS, DB2, Visual Age development tool) Analyze, design and code using mainframe technologies. Create project design documents and associated specifications based upon user defined requirements. Complete post implementation follow up and documentation.
