Job Description: The Computer Merchant is currently staffing a Help Desk Support role with the following skills:
Help Desk Support, 6 month contract in Coppell, TX
Must provide proof of citizenship on the first day, acceptable forms are either a birth certificate or passport.
Must be able to complete both a Background Investigation as well as, a Drug Test.
Must be flexible to work various shifts, such as: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shift work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyst will operate in a Help Desk environment and is the primary contact for customers, vendors, operations and technical services.
Will provide customer assistance by attempting to resolve issues over the phone.
If unable, will enter into call center tracking system for next level resolution.
Direct experience with PC's, knowledge and experience with DOS, Windows 95, 2000, XP Professional and Microsoft Office Suite.
Direct Helpdesk experience with Oracle e-business modules including iProcurement is a huge plus. Training in this area will also be done through our client.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
Windows operating systems, Lotus Notes, Typing Skills, Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a group environment.
Must be able to work offshifts.
