Reference Number: 09-01604 Job Description: Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Location: Bridgeport CT Duration: 5+ Months Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured: 5-7 years of experience as a business systems analyst, preferably with at least 1-2 years of experience with business analysis and requirements definition for data warehouse or business intelligence application environments. Must be able to quickly grasp and communicate about complex business concepts and processes. Strong knowledge of relational databases, relational and data warehouse design concepts, and use of SQL for database querying. Knowledge of and proven experience in following various software development and project lifecycle methodologies. Experience developing and maintaining project plans in MS Project. Experience leading project teams and managing projects, including issue and risk identification and resolution, project status reporting and distribution of other project communications, project meeting facilitation. Exceptional communications and client management skills. College degree required; Business or Computer Science courses preferred. Knowledge of Credit Card or Financial Services industry is a plus. Technical Knowledge: Data Warehousing, Data Mapping; MS Project; SAS, Project Analysis College degree required; Business or Computer Science courses preferred.
