Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced individual with a minimum of 5 years experience with PeopleSoft application security. We are upgrading our PeopleSoft 8.0 HRMS system to PeopleSoft HRMS version 9.0 MP5.
Individuals should possess PeopleSoft application security ?lead? experience with large organizations preferably public sector, which have implemented and/or upgraded large ERP packaged software systems. The initial duration of this contact assignment is for a 9 month period.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
?Lead? role for application security activities related to the PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0 upgrade Analyze the current application security in existing PeopleSoft 8.0 SP1 production application, review current security customizations, identify and analyze future state requirements, develop security recommendations Development and implementation of an Application Security Strategy/Plan for the new HRMS 9.0 application system using the new PeopleSoft 9.0 security features and functionality Configure and setup new application security in PeopleSoft 9.0 Design and setup the HR Portal menu(s) structure, security and work with developers for placement of objects on the portal Mentor internal Commonwealth staff on configuration, setup, and ongoing maintenance of PeopleSoft 9.0 application security Develop a ongoing security maintenance approach/procedure for the new 9.0 application and portal security Develop and participate in the development and execution of a testing strategy for the new PeopleSoft application security and Enterprise portal security Lead the testing of the new PeopleSoft 9.0 Security configuration during system, integration and parallel testing cycles This is a functional/technical role
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (5 years mandatory minimum experience):
Experience with ?hands-on? PeopleSoft HRMS application security in version 8.9 or 9.0 In depth understanding of PeopleSoft HRMS application security 8.9 or 9.0 delivered security features and functionality (e.g. user profiles, roles, permission lists, row level department access, operator defaults, etc) Understanding of portal concepts and configuration, specifically as they relate to PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal, HR Portal and PIA architecture Strong facilitation, communication, team building, negotiation and influencing skills Experience with large organizations (50,000+ employee populations) Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization Ability to lead internal focus groups for the purpose of gathering requirements Analytical thinker and ability to analyze the application security current state and make recommendations
ADDITIONAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (preferred):
PeopleSoft application designer experience and/or exposure Some experience with SQL on an Oracle DB platform PeopleSoft Portal experience, Enterprise Portal, and/or HR Portal pack would be very helpful Public Sector experience is preferred Microsoft office suite of tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio) Managing other team members Please respond to mgorham@tcml.com and refer to job # 09-01629 in subject line
