Job Description:
Shared Application Infrastructure (SAI) Program-based Project Manager Skills:
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 12+ months
Required:
Project Management experience for large scale, cross organizational based projects.
Ability to work with business and technical groups to understand business requirements and help communicate and translate to technical requirements.
Ability to manage and deliver on multiple threads within aggressive timelines and shifting priorities.
Excellent customer service based skills including verbal and written communications.
Excellent project management skills geared towards managing activities of resources that are not direct reports.
Willingness to perform both day to day task based administration of project-based activities in addition to the more strategic-based activities.
Proficient at office tools such as word processing, spreadsheets and producing simple reports and presentations.
Desired:
Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and maturity models
Familiarity with standard project management methodologies and implementations
Interest in technology (XML, Web Services) and technology standards organizations (W3C, ISO, OASIS, IETF, OMG etc.)
Exposure to state or federal policies pertaining to information systems security, identity management, accessibility

Responsibilities
Facilitate meetings
Draft and maintain documentation of meeting minutes, process workflows, and other project based documentation as needed.
Draft and maintain weekly, monthly, or annual reporting and budget requests as required
Manage day to day activities to ensure project deliverables remain on schedule
Aide in development of workflow for SAI-based service deployments - similarly to effort done for XML Gateway appliances (e.g. service roll-out, introduction of new deployment patterns, firmware upgrade procedures) ? for:
o Enterprise Service Bus
o Registry/Repository
o Provisioning at the IdMS
o Orchestration Engine
· Manage ITD?s Investment Brief Process for the SAI Program
· Manage CommonWay Project Management Process for the SAI Program
· Coordinate activities across organizational groups to ensure all effort is efficient and focused
