Job Description:
Position: Senior Project Engineer
Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for leading major global development programs. Responsibilities include initiating, conducting and leading research and development projects to advance the company?s process control equipment products including the design and testing of new and modified products (valves, actuators, controls) for a variety of applications. Work with Global Product Marketing & Sales personnel to identify opportunities for new product development projects. Projects will include the application of advanced mechanical engineering and fluid dynamic technologies. Projects will also include working with not only multi-discipline but also multi-national project teams.
Skills:
Stress analysis, flow analysis, and mechanical design computer software programs is required, and knowledge of vibration & acoustics desirable. Possess up-to-date multi-discipline project leadership skills. Good communication skills with ability to work in an international, high technology environment. Working knowledge of commercial research laboratory techniques, procedures and equipment is required. Must have knowledge of up-to-date international material and pressure vessel standards/codes. Individual must be project goal oriented.

Experience Required:
MUST HAVE FLOW CONTROL/VALVE EXPERIENCE
4 to 10 years of experience in an R&D environment with project management experience in the process control or related industry. Mechanical design experience required.
Mechanical design engineering and documentation. Major project management experience, some FEA and CAD modeling experience.
