Job Description:
18 month contract

Mandatory Requirements:
1. A minimum of four (4) years of experience in designing complex web applications using object oriented methodology creating use cases, class diagrams, interaction and sequence diagrams and recognizing design patterns.
2. Four (4) years hands-on experience in programming Java applications for specifications expressed by use cases, class diagrams, interaction diagrams and sequence diagrams.
3. Four (4) years of complex Java programming experience using Java SE, JDBC, Java Servlets and Javascripts
4. Four (4) years experience in UNIX development and implementation.
5. Four (4) years experience designing applications using Oracle database structures.

Desirable Experience:
1. Experience using STRUTS or a similar java development framework.
2. Having knowledge of HL7 message structure
3. Four (4) years experience using BEA WebLogic application server.
4. Four (4) years experience with relational databases and SQL.
5. Four (4) years communicating in two or more activities listed in a-e AND in two or more activities listed in f-i:

a. Preparation of user manuals
b. Thorough documentation of programs or systems
c. Provision of timely and clear status reports
d. Conceptual, system, and program design specifications
e. Participation in team design meetings
f. Leading system design session
g. Leading meetings dealing with the development or modifications of a system
h. Working with users to gather system requirements
i. Describing a system orally to technical and/or nontechnical staff. Description must have included such topics as:
? Systems Business Processes
? Systems Data Flows and Databases
? System Controls and audit Trails
? System Security
? System Hardware and Software Components
? System Interfaces
