Responsibilities: ? Work with business users to identify and document requirements. ? Perform gap analysis to determine if requirements are met by existing application or will require some form of enhancement. ? Identify alternatives to close gaps, making recommendations that best suit the business need and the long-term application strategy. Translate these alternatives into an explicit list of required enhancements (process, reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflow). ? Perform the detailed functional design of the application enhancements. Document the application to facilitate on-going support and future release development. ? Facilitate business-owner reviews and obtain sign-off on functional designs. ? Work with other team members to ensure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals. ? Perform module set-up and configuration activities. ? Support the development team as it configures, builds, and tests the application enhancements. ? Plan, prepare, and execute quality assurance and user acceptance testing. Engage business users during UAT and facilitate sign-off on test results. ? Support QA and UAT by implementing design changes to address defects found in testing. ? Follow good design practices to ensure application quality. ? Participate in unit test plan and other quality reviews. ? Inform the Project Lead of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project.
Job Qualifications/Requirements: ? Minimum of seven years total experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (11.5.10 + preferred), with the last 4+ years acting as a functional analyst/consultant ? Must have a deep functional knowledge of the following modules: Order-To-Cash including Order Management, Oracle Receivables, Inventory, and Advanced Pricing. Experience in module set-up and configuration is required. ? Knowledge of Oracle Service Contracts, General Ledger, and TCA would be a plus. ? Detailed, hands-on experience with functional design of application enhancements using the Oracle API set, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and workflow. ? Experience with designing inbound and/or outbound interfaces for Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Specific experience with interfaces to enterprise data warehouses, warehouse management systems, product catalogs, and/or customer databases a plus. ? Understands limitations of the Oracle system with respect to security, performance, customization, etc. ? Experience in relational database design and development. ? Custom development experience (technical design and development) with Oracle 11i is a plus, including exposure to SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, and Workflow. ? Experience working with business users throughout the SDLC, from analysis through design, build, test and deployment. ? Experience in leading design review sessions. ? Ability to translate requirements into functional designs. ? Ability to talk both business and technical in order to properly convey messages and key points to both business users and technical developers. ? Strong problem solving skills: able to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts to solve. ? Willingness to travel approximately 10%.
