SUMMARY

The Manager of Program & Relationship Management will be responsible for leading a team of IT project and relationship managers, while being accountable for the planning and execution of all IT projects and the overall alignment of IT with the business.

Complete responsibility for managing the technical, financial, contractual and schedule related aspects of multiple projects to facilitate an environment that optimizes the use of IT products, systems, services and procedures to meet the needs of the business. Manages a team of project managers, coaching and mentoring them and other resources within the IT group that manage projects. Responsible for leading resources and providing overall leadership to program team while driving technical excellence.

Regularly communicates program information internally and externally through formal and informal presentations and correspondence, collaborating with other departments and management as necessary. (Gathering and organizing information and developing presentation materials for management reviews.) Responsible for presenting company/program/technical information to internal management and external customers. Able to evaluate data, develop recommendations, and obtain approval from executive management. The position includes project planning, tracking and control as well as reporting progress to executives. Other assignments include facilitating meetings and monitoring action items

Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations (bid and proposal preparation, initial kickoff meetings, proposal schedules, corporate and sub-contract teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, teaming assignments, cost/benefit analysis, tradeoff studies and financial terms/conditions of contracts.). Focuses on integration, project inter-dependencies and risk management.

Manages a team of IT Relationship Managers coaching and mentoring them as they partner with business leaders in order to identify strategies that optimize the use of IT products, systems, services, and procedures to meet business needs. Maintaining alignment of IT projects and initiatives with the business organization goals and overall strategic plan, prioritizing, and communicating status regularly to the business. Provide guidance and support as the Relationship Managers develop and maintain relationships with business leaders and serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT support and development groups.

Responsibility for managing a medium to large project. Responsible for education on project management standards and assuring process compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

50% Managing ¡V coaching, mentoring, education, and process compliance.

25% Project portfolio planning, managing project dependencies, risks, and facilitation. Alignment of IT projects and initiatives with the business organization goals and overall strategic plan. Identify/leverage IT solutions to enable Business objectives. Program Management Status ¡V communication, project status, presentations, organizing project data

Education/Experience

?X Bachelor¡¦s or Master¡¦s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field
?X 7 years of leadership experience and a minimum of 10 years managing IT projects
?X Project Management certification a plus
