Role: The position is responsible for providing Tier II user support of the Siebel sales force automation (SFA) tool to ensure that the field force can effectively and efficiently do their jobs with the technology provided to them. This includes ensuring that user data accurately reflects business rules and that the system is functioning as designed as well as conducting analysis to resolve any identified issues. Issue investigation and analysis will heavily involve coordinating the support process between internal departments & external vendors.
This position requires the ability to leverage business process acumen combined with Siebel functional expertise to drive into business systems to analyze and document business processes and requirements. A working knowledge of Siebel technology and databases is required to assess issue complexity and impact.
This position is also responsible for developing curriculum and delivering training on the SFA system for sales representatives and field managers as well as providing internal support for those also utilizing the system.

- Green card or US/Canadian citizenship. No H1 sponsorship available. - Very strong working knowledge of Sales Force Automation Systems (Siebel Life Sciences) and an understanding of the Pharmaceutical sales process - 3 plus years of experience with critical applications or tools used within the department (Siebel) - Pharmaceutical Sales Technology - Working knowledge of MS Access - Proficient multitasking skills with a proven ability to successfully manage a large portfolio of tasks/ Basic Project management Skills - Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking to analyze data and make solid business decisions and recommendations / System Analysis Tools and concepts - Primary/ secondary support of above tools in business environment and supporting sales systems and end users a mobile environment. - Experience training end-users in a classroom or 1 on 1 environment / Curriculum development for SFA systems - Supervision of/and interaction with third party technical service providers. - BA or BS degree in Business, Computers or related field required.
Good to Know:
- In depth knowledge of hardware, software, and operating systems including installation, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting. - Extensive knowledge in the area of relational database programming, design, management, and implementation - Working knowledge of SQL - Documentation tools (Visio) - Knowledge of Microsoft Project - Experience developing technical training curriculums for classroom and CBT-based deliver - Certification in critical applications or tools (Siebel, SQL, Access) used within the department
