Job Description:
Our major client is looking for a Customer Service Representative for a 1 YEAR contract to hire position in Itasca, IL.

*** Looking for customer service representatives with very good automotive mechanical skills. Candidate MUST have hands on experience working on vehicles! ***

Position Description:
- Under general supervision, the primary responsibility of the Customer Service Representative is to answer and handle inbound calls from customers in a manner that displays the highest level of customer service. A very good knowledge of products, policies and procedures is displayed.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

?Respond to inbound calls from customers, dealers, banks, and assist with more complex inquiries.
?May act as a team leader to achieve total customer satisfaction.
?Communicate information effectively, keep appropriate customers and co-workers informed.
?Handle inquiries and requests concerning auto mechanical programs.
?Handle incoming calls in the call center.
?Assist with and/or perform certifications and phone observations.
?May be responsible for claim exceptions/special claim approvals.
?Handle special projects.


Skills and Abilities:

?Very good PC knowledge and keyboarding skills
?Ability to work independently and use proper judgment in handling and resolving customer concerns.
?Strong knowledge of product lines once placed.
?Very good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
?Good team leadership skills
?Two or more years customer service experience preferred
?Strong customer service skills
