Looking for a Clinical Content Developer to work in Metuchen NJ
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Obtains clinical content from subject matter experts and mines the training database to determine which customizations should be made available to the installed base as an out-of-the-box offering.
* Performs peer reviews of the clinical content including content developed by others. Supports clinical validation of newly created clinical content.
* Helps create necessary documentation that is necessary to release clinical content including requirements, release notes and/or user guides.
* Supports QA relative to verification and validation of clinical content inclusive of reviewing and providing recommendations on approaches to testing.
* Works with product and program management in release planning.
SKILLS NEEDED
One or more of the following core skill sets is required:
o Excellent linguistic skills, including strength in Syntax. Ideally possesses a Computational Linguistics educational background with a Natural Language Generation subspecialty.
o Background in health informatics is preferred.
o Excellent interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information
o Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details.
o Observational skills, to validate data obtained via other techniques and expose new areas of customer unmet needs.
o Writing skills, to communicate information effectively to customers, marketing, managers, and technical staff
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor*s degree in Medicine, Biomedical engineering, nursing, RHIA or equivalent education highly preferred.
* Excellent knowledge of medical procedures and knowledge of human anatomy. Strength in GI and/or Pulmonary domains is preferred.
* 3+ years experience in Healthcare, Medical Device or Medical IT industry preferred.
* Experience in computational linquistics or related disciplines preferred
