Job Summary
Position is responsible for providing clinical OH services at on-site ATO OH clinic. Candidate shall perform independent patient care typical of that provided by a mid-level practitioner in an OH medical office setting. Programs and services provided include:
? Diagnosis, treatment, advice, and appropriate work restrictions for work-related injuries and illnesses, including slip and falls, ergonomic injuries, and chemical and biological exposures;
? Diagnosis, treatment, and advice for non-industrial injuries and illnesses and appropriate referral to private physicians;
? Minor procedures such as suturing of uncomplicated lacerations and foreign body removal;
? Workers? compensation ?doctor?s first reports?;
? Conducting work-related medical surveillance and certification exams for respirator use, laboratory animal allergy surveillance, medical response teams, and others per protocols;
? Providing work- and non-work related vaccinations such as hepatitis B, tetanus, and influenza;
? Providing wellness screening services in conjunction with wellness partners;
? Communicating with all levels of site employees and managers and site/corporate Safety personnel;
? Maintaining patient confidentiality in all in-person, telephonic, and written communication;
