Job Description:
Looking for a SR Data Migration Lead/Manager. Candidates must have a minimum of 5-7 years in a lead role in major data migration efforts (including data cleansing and data archiving/system retirement). Strong knowledge in logistics, supply chain systems, Order to Cash and Procurement is required.
Responsibilities will include:
? Defining the data migration strategy and leading the data migration activities from the legacy systems (manufacturing, supply chain, order to cash, and financials) to the new ERP solution,
? Overseeing/Managing the daily activities of external consultants to make sure that their tasks are being completed per the project timelines,
? Provide leadership, support and guidance on the technical tasks (including design, development, integration testing, performance tuning?etc),
? Participating in generating and/or reviewing the required project technical data migration documentation (including data migration strategy, data mapping specifications, data extraction file layout/specifications, data migration and data verification protocols?etc),
? Gathering and documenting the data migration requirements from the ERP teams and legacy SMEs and communicating them to the appropriate technical staff,
? Ensures that all deliverables will be developed and documented per the SDLC,
? Assisting with the investigation, resolution and, where necessary the escalation of, any significant issues within the migration processes,
? Coordinating the data migration activities between the MDM team assigned technical resources, the legacy technical staff and the sites and ensure alignment on the roles, responsibilities, tasks and timelines,
? Support the execution of the data cleansing and standardization activities to be implemented,
? Support the business teams during the user acceptance testing activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline is required.
2. Candidates must have a minimum 12-15 years of Information technology experience
3. Candidates must have a minimum of 5-7 years in a lead role in major data migration efforts (including data cleansing and data archiving/system retirement)
4. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years implementing systems involving design, development, configuration, deployment and support of global applications within a large global IT organization preferably in Pharmaceutical manufacturing, logistics, supply chain systems, Order to Cash, Procurement.
5. In depth knowledge of SAP and experience with data migration in a global SAP environment is required.
6. Hands on experience with Backoffice Cranberry required
7. In depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle, configuration management, and software development methodologies is required.
8. An understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) system requirements and system validation methodology is required
9. Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills are required, with business, technical IT management, customers, outside agencies and internal departments are required.
10. Ability to travel internationally for extended periods of time required
