Our direct Fortune 100 client is looking to for a Windows 2000 Desktop Engineer with desktop application troubleshooting experience
Technical
- 7-10 years experience in hardware and software support. Assist engineers in resolution of hardware/software incidents and problems
- Familiar with PC hardware product.
- Competent problem determination skills.
- In depth knowledge of the Microsoft Product Suite (Windows, Active Directory)
- Working knowledge of SMS\SCCM and the ability to push software packages to desktops.
- Knowledge of all Infrastructure Components (LAN, WAN, Dial Up Communications and TCP-IP).
- Ability to write and troubleshoot Basic Scripts.
- Working knowledge of SQL queries
- Previous experience in supporting enterprise applications and processes.
- Ability to write technical documentation.
- Thorough understanding of the PC Imaging Process and associated applications (Ghost, Power Quest, Image Casting, OSD). of hardware/software problems.
- Competent problem determination skills.
Non-technical
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team
- Collaboration skills are essential.
Methodology/Certification
- MSCE certification preferred.
