Job Description: Our major pharmaceutical client is looking for a Collaborative-Planning-Forecasting-Replenishment for a 6+ month position in Parsippany, NJ.
**This contractor will be the point person for all Prevacid inventory management and daily orders to reduce risk of returns on short-dated product. Key customer focus includes: CVS, Rite Aid and Crossmark accounts although all customers with ongoing high WOC levels will be monitored. **
Position Description: This Collaborative-Planning-Forecasting-Replenishment (CPFR) Contractor makes recommendations and provides leadership to CPFR associates (CVS, WMT, Walgreens), Customer Service, Field Sales, Customer Strategy and Supply Chain Logistics to identify Customers with high WOC and manage Customer replenishment needs. Goal is to 1) prevent ?unnecessary? Customer Prevacid®24HR replenishment orders prior to entry into SAP and/or 2) highlight orders placed in SAP by high WOC customers that need authorization to be filled. Contractor will also contribute to forecast development for Supply Chain that positively effects store in-stock positions. - Leads the management of Prevacid24HR inventory and orders with cross functional teams (Customer Service, Logistics, Field Sales, Customer Strategy, CPFR) to reduce the amount of returns without negatively affecting customer support behind Prevacid24HR. - Daily focus on item/store in-stocks, consumption and forecast accuracy with a corrective action plan. Provides daily reporting and tracking to proactively identify trends that will positively/negatively impact store level in-stocks and store level inventory. - For Customers with high WOC, flag Prevacid24HR replenishment orders that will require ?approval? from Logistics and CS to be processed. - Develop and maintain relationship with Customer Service jointly identify and manage supply level and performance against these goals. - Provides linkage between CPFR analysts (CVS, WMT, Walgreens) and Demand Management on forecasting. This includes analysis on inventory, consumption, merchandising, biases and marketing mix elements - Develop and publish a weekly CPFR scorecard that tracks forecast accuracy, in-stock and inventory positions vs. agreed upon customer goals. - Provide ad hoc analysis related to inventory and/or forecasts for Supply Chain, Sales or Customer Service
Requirements: - Bachelors degree required - 8 years consumer package goods industry experience with at least 2 years in Customer Service or Logistics - Project Management - Excellent analytical and presentation skills - Strong proficiency in IRI, RSi, SFS or other Sales Systems
