Reference Number: GC-ScfSysProgrammer Job Description: A fortune 100 pharmaceutical client of ours seeking to hire for 6months+ position Scientific Systems Programmer for their West Point, PA. Qualifications: - Will participate in laboratory research as part of a project-based multidisciplinary team. - Will be involved in the design and development of data workflows, including image acquisition, storage and reconstruction. - Will identify areas where IT solutions can enhance research, develop software tools for wider departmental use, perform the installation of computer equipment and associated software, and maintain the integrity of our data and IT systems. Responsibilities: - The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Unix/Linux, Mac OS, PHP and HTML. - Programming abilities in C/C++, and Matlab or IDL, are highly desirable - along with experience with at least one medical image format (DICOM, Analyze, ECAT, etc.). - Experience in high-performance computing and network troubleshooting skills are a plus. - The candidate should have a proven record of scientific software development, as well as good verbal and written communications, interpersonal skills, and be able to work well as part of a team If you are interested, available then please send in updated word copy of your resume at gopal@sunrisesys.com or call 732-603-2200 x 217 Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements:
