Job Description:
An Engineering client of ours based out of Allentown, PA are seeking to hire Stress Engineer for 6months contract assignment.

Job Description:
- Provide Stress Analysis and Pipe Support Engineering of both cryogenic and high temperature process piping/supports for petro/chemical type plants.
- Communicates effectively with project team members.
- Gathers relevant information and involves others in problem solving efforts as appropriate.

Specific skill requirements -
- Has a working knowledge of piping materials, insulation, pipe fittings and components, flexible connectors, nozzle loading interpretation.
- Experience with computer analysis methods.
- Experience in use and understanding of AutoPipe software is a plus.
- Working knowledge of analyzing pipe in accordance with ASME B31.3 code a plus.
- Ability to use PDS to view piping models a plus.
- Support design is limited to simple structural pipe supports and piping attachments.
- Cryogenic experience a plus
