Reference Number: JavaDeveloper_PA Job Description: Looking for a SR Java developer with 10+ years of experience and excellent communication skills and Bachelors degree in computer science or electrical engineering. Masters/Ph.D degree is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding /experience working for a Medical device/Healthcare IT software industry. * 10+ years experience in software development industry. * Very strong background in object-oriented architectures and proven experience in using design patterns to architect software systems. Excellent knowledge of UML required. * Very strong Java development background. Very Strong with Core Java and Multithreading Experience with: Application design tools/framework - Struts, Ant, Eclipse, etc.. Web and application servers * Jboss, Weblogic, Tomcat and Apache. XML technologies * XML, Schemas, SAX, DOM, XSLT, Xquery, XMLBeans, JDOM, XHTML. Java technologies * JDK, J2EE (Servlet, JavaBeans, JSP, etc.). * Experience with service oriented architectures and Ingres/oracle database system is desired. * Experience with automated testing systems. Experience with various configuration management systems such as source-safe, clearcase, etc.. Experience with other software workflow tools. Other Skills Needed * Ability to reduce an overwhelming amount of information into a few salient issues to focus on. The ability to prioritize the most relevant from all other issues. * Must be a self starter with the initiative to follow through on programs/projects and work with all levels of users as well as have the ability to coordinate efforts both inside and outside of the division.
