Description:
Our State Govt client is looking for a contractor to work as a Senior Technical Analyst. The selected candidate will be a technical resource for project administrative responsibilities and complex analysis and design responsibilities. This resource will be utilized on the Collect Vehicle Property Tax (HB 1779) - Planning to Detailed Design (Master) Project. The main responsibilities of this position include the following: assist the porjecrt manager with project administrative activities, perform systems analysis and design, assist in the preparation for JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions with clients to collect user requirements and to develop detailed design; assist in the preparation of the User Requirements and Detailed Design documents; performing programming and other development related work as needed to support analysis and design; provide business and technical assistance for the project as needed.
Note: The selected contractor will work on the following project during the requested period:
Collect Vehicle Property Tax: Planning to Post-Implementation (Master) Project (HB 1779)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Minimum of five(5)years of software development and maintenance experience
Minimum of five (5) years of business analysis experience
Minimum of five (5) years of software programming/construction experience
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in mainframe using COBOL, CICS, MVS JCL, DB2, MVS/JCL and TSO
Minimum of one (1) year of work experience with HTML, XML, and XSL
Application/Project doeumentation experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and presentation skills
Excellent analytical and programming skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office Suite experiences (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, etc.)
Bachelor Degree is preferred
Preferred:
Work experience with Endevor File Aid, Xpediter and BMS/GT
Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle
Experience with Microsoft Project
Experience collecting user requirements and documenting the design for large and complex projects
Enterprise Level Application Development (spanning two or more business areas)
