Job Description:
A direct client of ours is looking for an Project manager with PMP Certification for a 3+ Month contract assignment at their Gaithersburg, MD location
Responsibilities:
- The Project Manager will be responsible for managing small to medium size projects in the Finicincial services sector.
- The Incumbents responsablities will included but on restricted to Project scoping and estimating, MRS instructions/approval, developing a support process, task and resource planning/coordination, issues management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilizes understanding of customers business needs to create and meet project requirements.
- Plans and manages resources to deliver results on EDI/XML implementations.
- Mentor team and technology evaluation for effective implementation and information integration across departmental boundaries
- Manages development and completion of all project deliverables.
- Maintains existing customer relationship and ensures customer satisfaction through open communications.
- Effectively negotiates and resolves conflict with customers, peers and among team members.
- Makes judicious decisions in familiar situations. Seeks guidance in new situations. Takes a project perspective.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with EDI customers and suppliers to analyze and implement requirements is a must.
- Experience managing projects end to end.
- Customer focused
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Strong interpersonal skills and Strong analytical and conceptual skills
