Title: Accountant
Location: Memphis, TN.
Duration: 06 Months
Meeting Type: Phone Meeting & In Person Meeting.
Required Travel: No Travel Required.
Anticipated Schedule: (40 Hours/Week)
Description:
Analyze sales and inventory accounting process and preparation of management reports
Perform period end financial close activities and meet all related deadlines
Reconcile various inventory accounts and research and resolve discrepancies.
Handle accounting policy and procedure inquiries and ad hoc reporting & analysis requests; provide periodic customer/site training.
Insure customer needs and relationships are fulfilled and enhanced through proactive involvement and interaction.
Maintain complete and accurate standard operating procedures and support control documentation requirements (SOX).
Accounting and support for intercompany transfer pricing strategies
Qualifications:
BS Degree or equivalent in Accounting is required.
CPA/MBA preferred, public accounting experience a strong plus.
Minimum five years experience in Accounting. Sales and inventory experience required.
Export, import, intercompany and transfer pricing experience a plus.
Proficiency in Personal Computer skills and financial applications is essential.
Ability to work independently, research accounting issues and handle several projects at once.
Strong accounting, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
SAP experience preferred.
OVERTIME ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS; NO TRAVEL REQUIRED.
Must have a finance degree-experience should be in mid size or larger companies.
Small Company experience generally does not provide the coporate level experience needed in this role.
