Job Description: *****************This is a HOT REQUIREMENT**************** Major Client is looking for a Business Analyst II-Business Intelligence candidate for a 10 month contract assignment. This is is Scottsddale, AZ.
Job Description: Works with functional process owners in order to translate and prioritize requirements for assigned area project and maintenance work. Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications. Determines which business requirements should be automated and how they can be integrated with other business and technical processes.
Essential Responsibilities -Executes cross-functional Business Intelligence and Enterprise projects by closely interacting with the Business Intelligence leaders, managers and consultants. -Works directly with business owners and IT staff to identify, rationalize, and document reporting requirements. Translates reporting requirements into functional specifications which detail the approach taken to address and resolve business needs. -Executes projects utilizing IT project management methodology, owning project lifecycle and coordinating business owner inputs (requirements, testing, and signoff). -Obtains and maintains technical understanding of the application suites in addition to how the business uses this information and the data flows from system to system. -Develops and tests SAP Business Objects reports and digital dashboard reporting solutions. Identifies critical data accuracy projects to drive analytics improvements to ensure consistent and accurate reporting across the business, and align projects to overall Business Intelligence vision. -Document business requirements and translate into standard functional or technical requirements for IT staff
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Requirements: -Bachelor?s Degree with 5+ years of professional IT experience. -2+ years of Experience in project management methodology (PMM) and AGILE methodology -3+ years of functional and technical experience with SAP Business Objects. -3+ years of experience working with a data warehouse using SQL or PL/SQL -3+ years of experience interacting with Oracle or Teradata databases

-Possesses strong requirements analysis, data analysis and critical thinking skills to rapidly assess needs, requirements or issues and determine appropriate course of action -Highly motivated, self-starter -Two years of financial services experience preferred -Experience with other major BI vendor solutions like IBM Cognos, Microstrategy, Spotfire, or Tableau -Familiarity with Systems Development Methodology, and formal testing methodologies. -Ability to work effectively within a cross functional, matrix, co-located work group
