Job Description:
Looking for a Senior SAP BI / BOBJ consultant with 10+ years of experience on design and development of new SAP Business Intelligence and Business Objects solutions.
Responsibilities for Senior SAP BI / BOBJ consultant:
? The Senior SAP BI / BOBJ consultant will be responsible for the hands-on design and development of new SAP Business Intelligence and Business Objects solutions, predominantly in the areas of Enterprise Data Warehousing, Enterprise Reporting, Query and Analysis, and Analytical Services.
? Responsibilities also include day-to-day maintenance, support, and enhancement of the existing SAP BI/BOBJ environments.
Skills Needed for Senior SAP BI / BOBJ consultant :
? The Senior SAP BI / BOBJ consultant will have expertise in configuration and programming in the SAP/BI environment, including technical design, testing and implementation.
? Ability to perform routine program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, and debugging.
? Experience with requirements gathering, technical analysis, and writing technical specifications
? Ability to troubleshoot existing performance issues.
Qualifications/Background for Senior SAP BI / BOBJ consultant
? SAP BI / BOBJ consultant will have a Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
? 5-7 years experience in SAP BI as a hands-on technical developer, including complex extraction, transformation, loading, data modeling, and development across all SAP functional areas in ECC.
? 3-5 years experience in Business Objects in a hands-on, development capacity.
? Proven track record with SAP BW 7.0, including both backend cube development and front end reporting experience (BEx, Crystal, Web Intelligence, Xcelsius).
? Knowledge of SAP Integration Roadmap with Business Objects.
? Solid understanding of core SAP ECC retail business processes.
Technical Knowledge for Senior SAP BI / BOBJ consultant
? SAP BI / BOBJ consultant will have strong technical knowledge and experience in SAP NetWeaver BI.
? Knowledge and experience in the various SAP R/3 functional modules: FI, CO, MM, PM, PS, SD, etc.
? ETL: Standard and custom extraction, transformations.
? Experience with Data Modeling Workbench and concepts such as Data provisioning areas / EDW.
? Administration experience including process chains, broadcasting, remodeling, repartitioning.
? Experience using Business Explorer tool suite.
? Ability to scope, design, develop and maintain BO reporting universes including advanced understanding of contexts, aggregate awareness and universe linking
? Demonstrated experience using Business Objects Universe Designer to create BO universes against BW as a data source (MDX and non-MDX methods)
? Ability to administer security, perform maintenance and enhancements to existing software in the BO XI 3.1 environment
? Experience with BO Lifecycle Management
? Extensive experience developing with Web Intelligence (Webi) and Xcelsius
? Hands-on ABAP coding, performance tuning, and debugging.a plus
? Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of BO in XI 3.1 or greater a plus
