Job Description:
Description:
? Conduct QC testing and validation of commercial devices or components.
? Additionally perform developmental or diagnostic tasks as needed to define specifications and necessary system characteristics. Plan, develop, and direct tasks to achieve team goals.
? Follow and develop QC procedures for testing. Conduct QC biological testing programs for commercial bio-mechanical devices.
? Conduct other device inspection and performance evaluations as needed. Conduct tests that are experimentally sound and statistically valid.
? Coordinate accurate and thorough documentation of testing performed as well as project progress. Provide timely status/progress updates for projects undertaken.
? Interpret experimental and inspection results and prepare reports. Drive corrective action as appropriate. Prepare test materials according to rigid aseptic techniques and other quality control requirements of laboratory procedures.
? Apply all safety and precautionary procedures pertaining to assignments and insure all employees participating in test follow precautionary procedures.
? Work environment involves working in hatchery or lab environment around machinery and biological/chemical hazards.
Skills:
? QC Release label - basic testing required
? Physical testing, gravities, spectroscopy, IR, optical location, weights, diluting.
? Previous experience in QC environment preferred
? Chromatography desired but not required
? BS preferred but not required
