Job Description:
The Senior Web Developer is a dedicated resource in developing next generation of an Integrated Business Solution. He/She will be responsible for designing and developing n-tiered Integrated Business Solution and Reporting System based on our business requirements, leading and manage projects, and working with managers and staff to evaluate and recommend the ?best practices approach? to various requirements. This position will also need to implement various Microsoft technologies deemed appropriate for integration.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Principal Accountability: % time expended on each tasks
30% Presentation Layer Development: Development of highly-intuitive, user-friendly, and professionally designed Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) leveraging ASP.NET and C#.NET and client-side scripting.
30% Application Logic Layer Development: Development that consists of: user navigation, session management, inter-system integrations, authorization and authentication, and business logic integration.
30% Business Logic Layer Development: The process of transitioning business rules into highly scalable, highly flexible and highly manageable self-contained programming components.
10% Data Access Layer Development: Accessing data from SQL Server in the most optimized way whereby minimizing concurrent database connections, writing SQL queries as efficiently as possible using T-SQL, creating Stored Procedures, working with Triggers, managing Bulk Inserts and DTS packages.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Candidate must possess a demonstrable strong knowledge of web development using the .NET Platform. Experience in project leading role. Experience working with users and business stakeholders in development of an Integrated Business Solution and a Reporting System.
