Job Title: Pharmaceutical Production Mechanic (Packaging / Filling)

Payrate: $18/hr to $26/hr

Shifts available: 1st and 2nd

Location: Westbury, NY



Access Scientific has 1st and 2nd shift Pharmaceutical Production Mechanic job opportunities with our manufacturing facilities in Melville, Westbury and Hauppauge.



Job Description

Sets up and operates variety of filling and packaging machines.
Trouble shoots machines or equipment to diagnose malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair.
Repairs or replaces worn/defected parts with either new part or reproduces part from various kinds of metal.
Performs preventive maintenance to machine and equipment.
Assembles and test operate machine to verify correction of malfunction.
Observes and makes necessary adjustments to machine to insure proper container identifications.
Records weights of product and makes all necessary adjustments to maintain correct fill weight.

Qualifications

Prior experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment in a pharmaceutical or similar industry.
Understanding of cGMP?s and SOP?s
