The primary function of the HEDIS Quality Clinical Nurse Auditor is to assess and audit medical record charts for HEDIS/QARR compliance documentation and provider incentive auditing --
Ø Conduct on and off-site audit survey for collection of Health Plan Employer and Data Information Set and Quality Assurance Reporting Requirements (HEDIS & QARR) audit
Ø Ensure data integrity of all individually performed clinical audits, which have been performed
General Characteristics:
Ø Excellent assessment skills for medical record review
Ø Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ø Ability to meet strict deadlines
Ø Ability to travel to various locations to conduct on-site audits
Ø Team player
Absolute ?Must Haves?:
Ø Valid and current nursing or medical record degree is required
Ø Position requires a current LPN or RN license
Ø Minimum of 2-5 years clinical chart auditing experience
Ø Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
