Job Description:
System Administrator/Software Engineer with Top Secret SCI
Design Staffing has an immediate position for a System Administrator/Software Engineer of high-performance, heterogeneous cloud computing systems. Client is looking for talented individuals to be a part of their world-class team doing state-of-the-art research and development in the areas of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) cloud architectures for high-performance computing. Specifically, Client is looking for a highly motivated and independent programmer and system developer who can contribute to programming infrastructure and deploy and administer our software in both unclassified and classified environments.
Location - Arlington, VA
Clearance: Requires TS/SCI clearance
Job Responsibilities:
The applicant will be responsible for the administration of high-performance computing systems and characterizing and optimizing the performance of those systems and will interact with both the open source community and users (primarily developers) of our infrastructure.
Position specific Job Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Minimum three years' experience of System Administration, preferably in a High performance computing (HPC) application.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience
- Linux (preferably RedHat or SLES) administration experience
- Python scripting preferred or Perl
- Open source and research experience desirable
- C/C++ experience desirable
- High performance computing (HPC) and/or GPU experience desirable
