Design Staffing, LLC has immediate openings for linguists in the US with good pay & benefits. The positions available are in the DC area in support of DIA. This is primarily Media Exploitation and Document Translation. This is for an active ongoing contract.
The compensation package includes health benefits coverage and paid vacation.
The requirements are:
1. US Citizen
2. Final Secret or Top Secret/SCI
3. Must pass a CI Polygraph and CI interview
4. Must pass language testing at the DLPT level of 3/3 or better in English, Pashto & Dari
5. The ability to pass any combination of the following languages IN ADDITION to Pashto and Dari is a very big plus:
Farsi, Urdu, Arabic, Punjabi, Turkmen, Tajik, Uzbek, French
We are searching for qualified translators who read write and speak both Pashto and Dari. The linguists will support the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) operations for the facility in Virginia. Linguists are required to test at a 3 level for all necessary language skills. Candidates will be expected to work at the facility in Virginia.
Required skills are Document/Media Exploitation/Translation/Gisting, and Interpretation.
Qualified candidates must be hold US citizenship with Secret or Top Secret Clearance. Must speak read and write both Pashto and Dari
An active security clearance is required in order to begin working on the contract; verification of security clearance of a minimum Secret or TS must be done through Security Division. Additionally, the client requires a subject interview and Poly to be completed, which will be done after submission of the candidate's packet has been approved for continuation into the DIA pipeline. This will require testing scores, a formatted resume, current SF86.
Annual salary will starts at $80k for Secret Clearance and $95K for Top Secret Clearance - depending on clearance level and skill set.
