SYSTEMS ENGINEER with Active TS SCI Fullscope Polygraph
Job Description: **This position requires a current TS/SCI clearance and will process to obtain a full-scope polygraph.** The client for this position is not as much concerned with the skill set as a go getter from the Help Desk or Web Developer looking to learn these skills. They would look at a candidate who has 50-60% of the skill set and is looking to learn more. They would like an Easy Study, go-gettter; easy study!
Responsible for requirements elicitation, refinement, and documentation on a large material management database (Sybase) with multiple, distributed on-line Web and MS Access applications. Engineers are responsible for maintenance of positive customer relations, definition of application enhancements, documentation and preliminary design of required new functionality, and research on discrepancy reports. Engineers maintain requirements information in a Lotus Notes database, and in Requisite Pro. System Engineers are the primary interface between the customer and the software developers. They also support testing, and deployment.
Required Education: BA or BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Use of Requisite Pro or a similar requirements tool (RDD, DOORS, CORE), MS Office Suite, Lotus Notes. Individuals require excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. REQUIRES A CURRENT TS/SCI CLEARANCE WITH A FULL SCOPE CLEARANCE
Demonstrated performance in requirements elicitation, definition and documentation is desirable. Experience with PVCS or similar CM tools is desired. Some local travel between the Customer and user sites is required.
Position would be great for Help Desk or Beginner Web Developer to move into Systems Engineer Position.
