Job Description: Director of Information Technology/Sales/Business Development

This candidate is someone is looking for an opportunity who would be interested in doing Business Development and Sales.

We are searching for a canidate with Heavy Microsoft IT experience to help with growth of 8A Firm with Sales, and Business Development. 1. Proven capability to bring new and existing clients. 2. Clearable- 3. BS in IT. MIS, or CS. Masters preferred
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science; Master?s degree preferred. 5-10 years experience in IT sector with increasing responsibilities. 3-5 years of IT department management experience. 3-5 years of experience in software and database development, preferably in a Microsoft environment. A broad understanding of computer systems, application, and operating systems, as well as analytical and problem solving skills. The primary responsibilities are to direct and manage an IT division; formulate IT policies, procedures, and programs; ensure data and system integrity; evaluate overall operations of computing and information technology functions; and make recommendations for enhancements based upon strategic initiative and directions. Specifically, the IT Director will:
Develop an IT strategy in support of companies mission and core objectives. Develop an annual business plan and operating budget for the IT division and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that financial targets are met. Develop techniques for defining and selecting effective performance measures and then measure IT success. Research and evaluate new technologies. Analyze complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommend technical solutions. Ensure consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards and procedures to implement technical solutions. Ensure optimum utilization and economical implementation of computerized systems, its components, and peripheral equipment. Manage computer application enhancements, introductions, and conversions to resolve procedural problems, address compatibility issues, clarify scope and purpose, develop controls, and improve information flow. Manage and mentor a strong IT team with the appropriate skills, knowledge, and abilities to be successful in building BLH?s IT contract portfolio.
