Job Description:
System Administrator will be responsible for racking and stacking IBM BladeCenter systems, performing and automating install/upgrade, B/R, setup and configure different AIX based Applications. The position includes smclient and MM configuration, blade configuration, SAN disk subsystem setup, network setup, troubleshooting and AIX, 3rd party Vendor SW and proprietary SW. Candidate will work as an effective project team member with other members to track/execute/deliver on time; and perform other duties as assigned.

* Extensive Knowledge and experience of AIX administration including operating system installation on different hardware platforms - p630, Bladecenter JS20/JS21/JS23, Power 7)
* Solid understanding of deploying real-time applications in a High Availability application & Architecture
* Extensive Knowledge and experience of AIX 5.3/6.1, VIOS/LPAR installation / configuration / maintenance, AIX administration including operating system installation on different hardware platforms (p630, Bladecenter JS21/JS22/Power 7), boot codes/strapping. Disk subsystem DS4700/DS3400/DS3500 configuration and management.
* Experience in an SCP environment is a plus
* Extensive knowledge in Kornshell, Perl, Javascript, HTML, css
* Experience with TCP/IP networking, T1, E1 & SS7 signalling.
* Experience in Virtualization/LPAR. Tivoli, SMIT ODM
* Experience in Microsoft office tools including Excel and Powerpoint
