QTP SME
* The candidate must understand the architecture and design of the Calypso application. Candidate must have experience in different QTP frameworks like keyword driven, Data Driven, Hybrid and Modular framework using Quality center (QC).
* Design and maintain the datasheets, object Repository, XML, INI files and test script files. Candidate should have extreme knowledge in excel macros using VB scripts, XML and Microsoft visual studios. Automate the back office validations like Calypso messaging servers/engines, Datalink, JMS link and Scrittura (trade confirmation) message.
Analytical skills and sound judgment is essential. Complete understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA Methodology. Must work well in a standalone or team environment. Candidate must be extremely detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
Candidate must be able to address time sensitive demands on a continuous basis. Support is sometimes required at off-hours for release validation and meeting deadlines, but remote connectivity is provided. Candidate must be able to develop new automated testing scenarios and adapt existing scenarios in a rapid development environment. Most of the time is spent collaborating with Developers, Product Managers, and Product Testers to develop automated test scenarios.

Requirements:
· Bachelor degree in computer science, math, finance, or a related discipline.
· Minimum 5 years experience in QA, minimum 3 years experience with Automation.
· Experience in coding, debugging and maintenance of scripts using VB
· Use Mercury's Quick test Pro (QTP9.5) and Quality center (QC9.2) to develop automated testing scenarios for a Web/window based application, and conduct system performance testing.
· Working knowledge of Calypso
· Able to navigate in UNIX & UNIX file system.
· Knowledge of SQL basic queries.
· Experience in working with version control tools like VSS.
· Perform performance testing like load, stress and volume testing using load runner tool.
· Ability to manage several desktop and browser based applications working together simultaneously.
· Document test plans and run the complete automated testing suite prior to software releases as a method of regression testing
· Ability to track and report defects, issues and overall results to peers and management
· Experience in Microsoft Excel macros and Microsoft visual studio
· Excellent communication skills and judgment, ability to manage multiple tasks, and work towards a deadline in a fast paced, aggressive development schedule
