Job Description:
SAN Engineer

The SAN Engineer is responsible for the review, expansion, installation, implementation, and expansion of a fast-growing, complex storage area network environment in a enterprise level, high availability data center. This position is part of a storage team that works closely with other engineering teams to provide technical support for all storage management-related activities. This will include data center expansions, consolidations and remediation's. This individual may also act as a liaison to other departments, representing the storage team on all technical matters related to storage management. Regular in-flight progress reports will be mandatory along with interfacing with several different technical disciplines' management teams.

This position requires an extensive background in SAN management, with a demonstrated ability to implement solutions, manage change, and provision storage in a large-scale, mission-critical, multi-TB storage environment. A background in various backup solutions and architectures will also be key in this position.
