TOP TIER DIRECT FORTUNE 100 INVESTMENT BANKING / FINANCIAL CLIENT is looking for Business system Analyst. This will be based out in SFO, CA
one of the most exciting, high growth businesses within the organization, is in search of a Business Systems Consultant to join the team in the San Francisco office. In the position, you will:
1.Support the administrative functions for the Hyperion Essbase server on Solaris platform used for financial reporting. These functions include monitor calc processes, validate results to source data systems, research issues, archive databases, update outline dimensions, schedule production processes, manage security, and monitor connections. Must be detail and process schedule oriented.
2.Update and support the Clarity web based reports and templates for end-user use.
3.Update and support Excel reports for PCS Central Finance. Update VBA for Excel automations as necessary.
4.Manage the communications and deadlines around consolidating performance data to meet Central Finance reporting requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* BA/BS degree in Finance or Business or equivalent experience is desired.
* Three years experience as a systems analyst with strong Excel knowledge, and familiarity with Visual Basic in Excel. Two years experience with Web development for reporting.
* Prior Essbase server support experience desirable. Proficiency in Unix and Perl a plus.
* A demonstrated understanding of relational database querying (Oracle, SQL, DB2 or Access) is critical.
