Position: SAP Project Manager
Our Fortune 500 client is in immediate need of an excellent SAP Project Manager position in Issaquah, WA
Duration: 12 Months
Description:
? Enhance the existing SAP GTS 7.0 functionality to unify customs data, standardize Trade export documentation and update electronic data transfer to/from Customs Brokers, Distribution Turnkey Vendors and Manufacturing Turnkey Vendors.
? Streamlining invoice processing will decrease compliance risk and increase Customer Partner Experience (CPE) by removing manual mitigation strategies in favor of an automatic systemic solution.
? Exception logs and centralized control will allow pre-shipment management.
SAP Specific Goals
? Update Trade attribute assignment (HTS, ECCN and License types) from SAP R/3 Enterprise to SAP GTS 7.0.
? Expande SAP GTS 7.0 Customs Management Export Functionality. Retire customized SAPScript export invoices in SAP R/3 Enterprise and enable standard export invoice generation (Smartforms) using SAP GTS 7.0
? Migrate master data transfer elements from SAP ECC 6.0 to GTS (e.g. product master) required for GTS export invoicing.
? Onboarding of third party distribution centers to GTS.
? Update EDI Canadian export invoices at a company/country level instead of sold-to/ship-to level.
? Enhance trade data reporting in SAP GTS/SAP BW.
? Update address and proliferation compliance screening to existing screening process in SAP GTS.
? Remapping of data on existing Trade output.
? Possible replacement of existing interface solution to streamline screening processes.
? SAP GTS 8.0 research and POC?s.
Other Goals:
? Configuration of SAP GTS customs functionality in a test environment.
? Customs Management knowledge transfer to project team configuration owners.
? Detailed documentation on SAP GTS customs management configuration.
? Detailed documentation on key requirements/dependencies for implementing GTS Customs Management functionality.
? Consultation on project planning requirements and dependencies for successful GTS customs implementation.
Person Profile
? Hands-on experience in a SAP GTS 7.x environment implementing SAP GTS Customs Management and Compliance Management functionality.
? 5+ years experience in a SAP R/3 Sales and Distribution (SD) environment including knowledge of ECC 6.0 Foreign Trade functionality.
? Deep functional, hands-on expertise (including configuration and detailed functional specifications) in SAP GTS Customs and Compliance Management and SAP ECC 6.0 SD.
? Good cross-application/technical knowledge (Smartforms, GTS Adobe Forms, EDI, ALE, BASIS, ABAP Workbench).
? Excellent knowledge of SAP?s trade reporting capabilities (SAP ECC 6.0, GTS, BW).
? Excellent knowledge of worldwide trade regulations and governmental requirements related to trade documentation.
? Self-starter that can deal with ambiguity, maintain focus, drive to clarity and deliver results.
? Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
? Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
? Solid understanding of software architectures, software development life cycle and Microsoft products.
? A BA/BS degree, preferably in Computer Science or Quantitative Business (Economics, Statistics, or MIS) related fields.
