Job Description:
Job Title: Agile Project Manager
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 18 Months
We are looking for a highly qualified Agile Project Manager to manage on-going integration projects. This position will manage multiple teams of Agile developers who are creating Web Services using JAVA and SOAP/Axis. Familiarity with working with managing teams using that technology set is essential.
The candidate must experience managing teams using at least some of the following technologies / techniques:
o Java/JEE
o OO Design
o Developing Web Services with SOAP / Axis (or similar SOAP stack such as WebSphere)
o CVS
o Automated Testing (JUnit / JMock / etc.)
o Web Logic (or similar) Application server
o Automated Builds / Continuous Integration using a tool like CruiseControl / Hudson / Etc.
o BMC Remedy (or similar tool) for managing and scheduling production deploys and trouble tickets.
In addition, the candidate must have experience working on multiple Agile / XP projects over several years and must be proficient with the following techniques:
o Story Jams
o Roadmap / Release Planning
o Iteration Planning
o SCRUMs
o Test Driven Development
o Continuous integration, paired programming.
o Metrics analysis and generation (e.g. burn-up charts)
