Reference Number: MechHeatTrsf-RotEquipEng Job Description: Mechanical Heat Transfer Engineer ~ Houston, TX (etc.) - 7-10 years dedicated Mechanical Heat Transfer Experience in petrochemical, LNG, refinery field. - Experience with regulatory codes ASME, ANSI, API etc. - Experience with pumps, vessels, and specialty items for refineries. - Must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering. - PE a plus ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Senior Heat Transfer Specialist ~ Houston, TX - Heavy experience in brazed aluminum (core) heat exchangers needed to support olefins technology. Must Have Skills: - Advanced knowledge of heat transfer principles is a must. Candidate must be exceptionally well-versed in the Aspen MUSE program for brazed aluminum heat exchangers and able to evaluate vendor core designs thermally and hydraulically. - Additionally, the candidate must be familiar with cold box systems and thermal stress evaluation of cores under abnormal operating conditions. Candidate must be experienced with reviewing vendor drawings of stand-alone cores, cores-in-kettles, and cold box systems. - Prior fabricator experience with brazed aluminum heat exchangers is strongly preferred. Nice to Have Skills: - Knowledge of HTRI Xchanger Suite and other unfired heat transfer equipment types is a plus. Long-term contract or perm positions Experience Level: 5+ Years Requirements:
